Lars Schillingmann received the diploma in computer science from the Bielefeld University, Germany, in 2007. He wrote his diploma thesis about integrating visual context into speech recognition.

Subsequently he joined the research group for Applied Informatics (Angewandte Informatik) at the University of Bielefeld, Germany. He has been working for the BMBF Joint-Project DESIRE. Currently he is working in the iTalk EU-Project on the topic of Acoustic Packaging. He is associated to the CoR-Lab via the iTalk Project.

His research interests include learning and feedback processes embedded in human-robot interaction.
