Martin Heracles received the Diploma degree in Computer Science from the RWTH Aachen University, Germany, in 2007. Subsequently, he joined the Honda Research Institute Europe in Offenbach, Germany, as a Scientist where he had the opportunity to conduct research with the Honda humanoid robot ASIMO.

He is currently working towards a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science at the University of Bielefeld, Germany, in collaboration with the Honda Research Institute Europe in Offenbach, Germany. His research interests include computer vision, machine learning and robotics with a focus on visual scene understanding and autonomous vehicles.
