Starting in June 2012 I am with the HMI Group at Twente University.
Previously, I have been a member of Co-Lab in the Hybrid Society group from 2009 to 2012 and a member of the research group for Applied Informatics (Angewandte Informatik) (2006-2012) at Bielefeld University where I finished my PhD in April 2010.
My research interests are the interplay between humans and multimodal machines which I believe can only be addressed from a highly interdisciplinary perspective. My work focuses on the question of how interfaces can be designed in order to be usable for the human users and to account for their expectations.
