Research Project:
Andre Lemme studied computer science at Bielefeld University. He received the diploma in September 2009. His diploma thesis with the title "Efficient sparse code in a full non-negative auto associative neural network" investigated methods that allow an autoencoder to learn sparse code that uses only non-negative weights (NNSAE).
He currently is pursuing a Ph.D. program in Computer Science at the University of Bielefeld, working within the AMARSi EU Project (www.amarsi-project.eu).
His main interests are algorithms for autonomously learning and developing rich motor skills with a focus on motion primitives.
