Graduate School Project:
Matthias Behnisch received the diploma degree in Applied Computer Science from the University of Bielefeld in 2007. Since 2008 he is a member of the Graduate School for Cognition and Robotics.
His previous work with several robot platforms includes low-level motor control, sensor data acquisition and computer vision. In his diploma thesis he did research on visual homing with adaptive optical flow techniques. Currently he is working on architectures that combine local reactive controllers with global planning schemes to accomplish complex tasks in dynamic environments.
